The CinePearl Take

The film’s strongest asset is its unflinching narrative rhythm – it moves from quiet village life to sudden bursts of violence without melodrama. While the lack of big‑name stars is noticeable, the lead’s understated performance (a local actor playing a conflicted former Naxalite) anchors the story with authenticity. The director’s choice to let the forest itself become a character adds an eerie, immersive layer, though the pacing occasionally drags during expository scenes.
