The CinePearl Take
Director Lee Joon‑ho crafts a measured pace that lets each character’s grief breathe, avoiding melodrama while still delivering emotional punches. Park So‑yeon shines as the reluctant choir leader, conveying quiet strength with just a glance. The film’s recurring motif of a single piano note becomes a powerful symbol of memory and hope, anchoring the narrative’s thematic core.
