The CinePearl Take
Eça’s direction keeps the pacing brisk, never allowing the jokes to stall. The ensemble’s chemistry shines, especially the lead’s dead‑pan delivery that anchors the mayhem. While the plot is simple—a man’s desperate hunt for exact change spirals into a neighborhood showdown—it cleverly highlights class quirks and the absurdity of bureaucracy. The film’s heart lies in its affectionate portrait of a community that rallies around the most trivial of crises.
