Best For

The CinePearl Take

Channing Tatum delivers his most grounded performance yet, channeling a street‑wise intensity that anchors the film’s moral ambiguity. Al Pacino’s cameo as a seasoned detective adds a layer of gravitas, though the screenplay’s uneven pacing sometimes dilutes the tension. The movie’s core theme—loyalty versus ambition—resonates in the stark New York backdrop, making the climax feel earned despite a few narrative shortcuts.
