The CinePearl Take

The film’s direction is deliberately measured, allowing the dread to build like a slow‑spinning top. Lead newcomer Maya Delgado delivers a hauntingly raw performance, embodying both vulnerability and menace in equal measure. While the pacing can feel languid, it serves the theme of obsessive fixation, and the ambiguous ending lingers long after the credits roll.
