The CinePearl Take
Bernhard Wenger’s direction is taut, using the town’s foggy seascape to mirror the protagonist’s growing paranoia. The standout performance comes from the unnamed lead, whose understated delivery anchors the film’s moral ambiguity. While the pacing occasionally drifts, the climax delivers a satisfying payoff that lingers. Thematically, it asks whether we can ever truly hide from the machines we create.
