The CinePearl Take
Sisa Quispe’s direction is both patient and precise, allowing the landscape to breathe as much as the characters. María Torres, in her breakout role as Kusi, delivers a performance that is simultaneously tender and fierce, embodying the film’s central theme of hope as resistance. The deliberate pacing may test restless viewers, but it rewards those who linger with a deep emotional resonance that lingers long after the credits roll.
