The CinePearl Take
Director Artus (the pseudonym of the French comedy troupe behind "Les Tuche") delivers his most nuanced work yet, balancing slapstick with genuine pathos. The lead—played by a breakout unknown—anchors the film with a subtle performance that feels both relatable and oddly poetic. While the pacing occasionally lags in the middle act, the final act’s emotional payoff makes the journey worthwhile, underscoring themes of serendipity and self‑discovery.
