The CinePearl Take

Surjan’s observational lens never feels intrusive; instead, it invites the audience to walk alongside the marchers, feeling the weight of their torches and the rhythm of their chants. The pacing is deliberately uneven, mirroring the unpredictable nature of grassroots organizing, while the recurring voice‑over of Maya Patel—a young climate scientist—grounds the film in hopeful expertise. The documentary’s strongest thread is its focus on personal sacrifice, turning abstract policy debates into visceral human stories.
