The CinePearl Take
Roc’s direction is confident, letting the film breathe without relying on a star‑studded cast. The pacing drifts like a lazy summer afternoon, letting small gestures speak louder than dialogue. Themes of identity, friendship, and the pressure to conform are handled with a sincerity that feels fresh despite the film’s brevity. Even without big names, the ensemble of local talent delivers performances that linger long after the credits roll.
