The CinePearl Take
Marcos Mion shines as the grizzled ex‑champion, infusing his performance with a swagger that softens just enough to let the audience feel his vulnerability. The pacing cleverly alternates between high‑octane sparring scenes and quieter, character‑driven moments, letting the central theme of redemption through companionship breathe. Guilherme Tavares provides a solid supporting turn as the trainer who nudges the hero toward empathy, while Antônio Fagundes adds gravitas in a cameo that reminds us why the sport matters beyond the ring.
