The CinePearl Take
Jim Sarbh’s brooding turn as the vengeful protagonist anchors the film’s emotional core, while Vidya Balan brings a steely gravitas to the conflicted police officer. Nambiar’s pacing is relentless, though the narrative occasionally stalls in its flash‑back sequences. The film’s central theme—how a single act of betrayal can echo across generations—resonates long after the credits roll.
