The CinePearl Take

Pereira’s patient, observational style lets the landscape speak louder than any voice‑over, letting the rhythm of daily life set the film’s measured pace. The most striking moments come from the candid interviews with solar technicians—especially María Gómez, whose quiet determination embodies the film’s central theme of empowerment through renewable energy. The minimalist score, built from native Paraguayan instruments, underscores the contrast between tradition and modernity without ever feeling preachy.
