The CinePearl Take

While the plot is thin, Hata’s direction injects enough kinetic energy to keep the audience humming along. The standout sequence is the “Silent Symphony” number, where Miku’s inability to sing is visualized through a cascade of falling neon ribbons that sync perfectly with the score. The pacing swings between frantic concert rehearsals and quieter, introspective moments, giving the film a rhythm that mirrors its protagonist’s journey. Ultimately, it’s a love letter to anyone who’s ever felt out of tune with their own aspirations.
