The CinePearl Take
Marqués’ debut shines thanks to a standout turn from newcomer Alba Ríos, whose shy barista‑turned‑mentor anchors the film’s emotional core. The pacing is deliberately breezy, mirroring the rapid-fire text exchanges that drive the plot forward. Beneath the laughs, the film explores the paradox of digital intimacy versus real‑world vulnerability, making it both timely and surprisingly tender.
