Why Watch This
Enya Baroux’s debut comedy blends a wildly inventive road‑trip premise with razor‑sharp dialogue, turning a simple inheritance quest into a cascade of absurd, unforgettable set‑pieces. The film’s off‑beat humor and unexpected emotional beats make it a fresh laugh‑out‑loud experience.
Best For
Comedy lovers, Road‑trip fans, Indie film enthusiasts, Quirky humor seekers, Female director fans
The CinePearl Take
Baroux shows a surprisingly confident hand at pacing, letting the chaos build before delivering perfectly timed punchlines. The standout performance comes from the film’s newcomer lead, whose manic energy as an over‑eager travel blogger anchors the ensemble’s madness. While the plot occasionally meanders, the visual gags and heartfelt moments keep the audience invested, proving that a debut can feel both daring and polished.
