The CinePearl Take

Vijay’s performance is the film’s engine, delivering a nuanced mix of swagger and vulnerability that keeps the audience invested in his morally gray choices. The supporting cast—especially Rachita Ram’s fierce tenant‑leader—adds depth, while the pacing smartly alternates between simmering tension and sudden bursts of action. Hampi’s direction shines in his use of Bengaluru’s cramped alleys as a character in itself, underscoring themes of power, displacement, and redemption.
