Director Nicholas Pineda layers low‑budget practical effects with a slow‑burn atmosphere that keeps you on edge long after the credits roll.
Best For
Horror fans, Found‑footage enthusiasts, Indie horror lovers, Paranormal thrill seekers, Late‑night binge watchers
The CinePearl Take
Pineda’s restrained pacing lets dread accumulate rather than relying on cheap jump scares, and the unnamed student narrator delivers a surprisingly grounded performance that anchors the chaos. The film’s central theme—how institutional neglect can amplify unseen horrors—feels oddly relevant, giving the scares a layer of social commentary. While the budget shows in a few rough edges, the claustrophobic setting and relentless sound design make the final reveal genuinely unsettling.
