Why Watch This
“Somebody” offers a haunting look at urban isolation, blending slow‑burn tension with striking visual storytelling that captures Seoul’s neon‑lit underbelly. Its minimalist script lets atmosphere and subtle character cues drive the mystery forward.

The CinePearl Take
The film’s lead, an emerging newcomer, delivers a quietly magnetic performance that grounds the labyrinthine plot. Director Kim Jae‑ho employs long takes and rain‑slicked streets to amplify a sense of claustrophobia, making the city itself feel like a character. Though the pacing is deliberate, it rewards patience with a resonant commentary on anonymity in the digital age, and the final reveal lingers long after the credits roll.
