The CinePearl Take
John and Molly’s candid on‑camera presence is the documentary’s beating heart; their humor and vulnerability turn what could be a didactic lesson into a compelling love story with the land. The pacing mirrors the seasons—slow, deliberate, then suddenly urgent—mirroring the farm’s own cycles of hope and hardship. Themes of resilience, biodiversity, and the power of community are woven through stunning cinematography that captures both the grandeur of the valley and the minutiae of soil life.
