The CinePearl Take
Ortega’s direction is both dreamy and disciplined, letting the story breathe while anchoring it in real‑world stakes. The breakout performance by the film’s unnamed lead captures the restless yearning of a heart caught between tradition and desire. Its deliberate pacing mirrors the lunar cycle, rewarding patience with moments of quiet revelation.
