The CinePearl Take

Elizabeth Olsen delivers a quietly fierce performance as rookie FBI agent Jane Banner, balancing rookie uncertainty with a fierce drive for justice. Tantoo Cardinal brings a devastating, word‑less grief that anchors the film’s emotional weight. Sheridan’s pacing is relentless yet measured, letting each clue unfold like a cold wind across the plains, and the film’s meditation on systemic neglect feels as timely as it is timeless.
