The CinePearl Take
Bim’s patient pacing lets the landscape speak as loudly as the interviewees, turning the countryside into a silent character. The documentary’s strongest moments come from the testimonies of Zapata’s descendants, whose raw recollections give the film an emotional anchor. While the absence of a traditional cast might deter casual viewers, the thematic depth and visual storytelling make it a compelling study of memory and myth.
