The CinePearl Take
Fares Fares (as Detective Noredin) anchors the story with a weary, world‑weary charisma, while Mari Malek’s understated turn as the victim’s sister adds emotional depth. The pacing is deliberate, allowing the city’s claustrophobic atmosphere to seep in, and the film’s unflinching look at systemic abuse makes its suspense resonate long after the credits roll.
