The CinePearl Take

P. J. Pesce's sequel never quite matches the original’s razor‑sharp script, but it compensates with relentless pacing and a parade of eccentric killers. Maury Sterling steals the spotlight as a sardonic hit‑man whose dry wit cuts through the chaos, while Ernie Hudson provides a surprisingly grounded counterpoint. The film’s biggest flaw is its scattershot plot, yet the kinetic action sequences keep the adrenaline flowing. If you can overlook the thin storyline, the movie is an unapologetically loud ride.
