Why Watch This
Manuel Stettner’s “QRT: Sign, Zombie, Teqno – A Necrologue” fuses sign language, undead horror, and a relentless techno score into a single, pulse‑pounding visual essay. Its experimental storytelling forces you to feel the narrative as much as you watch it, making every frame a kinetic poem about digital decay.

The CinePearl Take
Stettner’s direction is unapologetically bold, using stark chiaroscuro lighting to turn the zombie horde into a haunting choreography of shadows. The occasional use of sign language as a narrative device is both unsettling and oddly poetic, giving the undead a voice that never speaks. Pacing drifts between frantic chase sequences and meditative, static shots, underscoring the film’s meditation on mortality in a hyper‑connected world. While the lack of a traditional cast may alienate mainstream viewers, the film’s thematic ambition more than compensates for its abstract approach.
