The CinePearl Take
Director Ana López captures the chaos of a grandmother’s viral rise with brisk pacing that never lets the jokes stall. María Fernández shines as the titular grandma, turning every awkward dance move into a comedic highlight. The film’s underlying commentary on ageism feels surprisingly sharp, even as the humor stays accessible. While some subplots fizzle, the chemistry between the elder and her tech‑savvy grandson carries the story forward.
