The CinePearl Take
Balda’s direction keeps the pacing brisk, delivering a fresh twist on the classic “detective duo” formula by swapping humans for woolly protagonists. The standout “lead lamb” voice work—delivered with earnest earnestness—anchors the humor while giving the film an emotional core. Though the plot is simple, the clever use of farm‑yard physics for chase sequences elevates the visual comedy. Overall, it’s a breezy, feel‑good romp that works best when you let the absurdity run wild.
