The CinePearl Take

Kolhatkar’s modest pacing rewards patience, allowing the audience to settle into the cadence of communal life. The film’s standout moment comes from the elderly shopkeeper, whose deadpan humor anchors the ensemble and underscores the theme of intergenerational solidarity. While the narrative never veers into melodrama, its quiet reverence for ordinary relationships makes it a subtle yet resonant portrait of belonging.
