The CinePearl Take
André Forcier and Jean‑Marc E. Roy coax a dream‑like rhythm from the cardboard set, letting the story breathe without ever feeling sluggish. Jean‑Marc Desgent delivers a hauntingly grounded performance, while Pierre Curzi’s occasional bursts of intensity anchor the film’s more fantastical moments. The pacing deliberately lingers on the city's cramped corridors, underscoring themes of urban alienation and the fragile nature of community.
