The CinePearl Take

Shaanu Kakkoor and Shafi Eppikkad craft a measured pace that lets the town’s rhythms breathe, making each scene feel lived‑in. Bibin George’s understated performance anchors the film, capturing the quiet desperation of a generation stuck between duty and desire. Mareena’s vibrant energy provides a counterpoint that lifts the narrative, while the cinematography captures the lush backwaters with a painterly eye. Though the plot meanders at times, the thematic focus on community and identity feels resonant.
