The CinePearl Take
Director María Torres lets Prevost’s own voice guide the narrative, allowing the viewer to hear the subtle shifts in his worldview over the years. The pacing is deliberately unhurried, mirroring the slow rhythms of highland life, which may test impatient viewers but rewards those who linger. Visually, the film balances sweeping aerial shots of the Andes with close‑ups of daily rituals, underscoring the tension between the vastness of the land and the intimacy of personal faith.
