The CinePearl Take

The film’s quiet power rests on its lead’s understated performance, which conveys a lifetime of sorrow with barely a whisper. Padmanabhan’s pacing is deliberate, allowing the audience to feel the weight of each sunrise and the lingering echo of the past. Themes of inter‑generational trauma and the pull of oral tradition are woven together without ever feeling didactic, making the experience both intimate and universal.
