Why Watch This

“Baby Do Die Do” is a razor‑sharp dark comedy that skewers the absurdities of modern parenthood and the gig economy, anchored by Huma Qureshi’s fearless, off‑beat performance as a mother‑turned‑undercover operative. Director Nachiket Samant mixes frantic pacing with dead‑pan humor, turning a seemingly simple premise into a chaotic, yet oddly heartfelt, ride.

Best For

Dark comedy fans, Indian cinema enthusiasts, Huma Qureshi admirers, Satire lovers, Offbeat narrative seekers, Indie film buffs

The CinePearl Take

Samant’s direction is unapologetically bold, trading conventional storytelling for a kinetic, almost improvisational style that keeps the audience on edge. Huma Qureshi steals the show, delivering a layered portrayal that oscillates between manic desperation and sly wit. While the plot occasionally spirals into over‑cooked chaos, the film’s thematic core—questioning the cost of survival in a hyper‑connected world—remains compelling. Sikandar Kher provides a grounded counterpoint, but it’s Chunky Panday’s cameo that adds the most unexpected comic relief.
