The CinePearl Take
Director Priscilla Kellen crafts a rhythmically vibrant world where every frame feels hand‑drawn and alive, a rare feat in contemporary CGI‑dominated animation. Aretha Garcia Rollo delivers a standout performance as the protagonist, infusing her lines with a mix of innocence and fierce determination. The pacing balances whimsical adventure with quieter, introspective moments, allowing the film’s themes of self‑discovery and intergenerational love to resonate without feeling preachy.
