The CinePearl Take

Varalaxmi’s dual role as director‑actress is the film’s biggest asset; she commands the screen with a nuanced blend of vulnerability and resolve. Prakash Raj delivers his trademark gravitas, providing a compelling counterpoint to Saraswathi’s journey, while Priyamani’s understated emotional beats add depth to the family dynamics. The pacing is deliberate yet never sluggish, allowing the thematic clash between tradition and modernity to unfold organically.
