The CinePearl Take
Clarke’s debut is a slow‑burn that rewards patience; the pacing deliberately mirrors the methodical church inquiry, heightening the dread as secrets surface. Niamh Walsh delivers a hauntingly restrained performance as Sister Ann, embodying both devotion and terror. The film’s thematic focus on institutional abuse adds a resonant, contemporary weight to its supernatural scares.
