The CinePearl Take

Dileesh Pothan’s debut is a masterclass in restraint; the pacing mirrors the unhurried rhythm of a small town, allowing each character to breathe. Soubin Shahir shines as Mahesh, delivering a performance that is both comedic and deeply vulnerable. The film’s humor arises organically from everyday interactions, while its underlying theme—learning humility through failure—resonates long after the credits roll.
