The CinePearl Take
The sequel’s pacing is a double‑edged sword: the opening half rushes through setup, but the latter half lets the tank choreography breathe, delivering some of the series’ most exhilarating set‑pieces. The returning voice cast (though unlisted) brings an infectious energy that lifts the otherwise thin plot. Shimoda’s direction balances slapstick humor with sincere moments, reminding viewers why the franchise’s charm lies in its oddball juxtaposition of school life and armored warfare.
