The CinePearl Take
Loreti’s debut shines thanks to a magnetic performance by newcomer Luisa Fernández as Lu, whose quiet intensity anchors the film’s whimsical chaos. The pacing ebbs and flows like a tango, allowing moments of quiet reflection to sit beside sudden bursts of visual poetry. Themes of urban isolation and unexpected kinship feel both timely and timeless, while the cinematography captures Buenos Aires in a palette of muted pastels and neon flicker. Though the narrative occasionally meanders, the emotional payoff feels earned and lingering.
