The CinePearl Take
Dörrie’s direction balances clinical futurism with warm, character‑driven moments, letting the audience feel the tension between freedom and control. The lead performance—though uncredited—delivers a nuanced portrayal of a woman learning to trust a digital self, grounding the high‑concept plot in raw emotion. Pacing is deliberately measured, allowing the film’s philosophical questions to breathe without sacrificing narrative momentum.
