The CinePearl Take

Ratna Pathak delivers a quietly ferocious turn as the widowed housewife who discovers her own longing, anchoring the ensemble with gravitas and wit. Shrivastava’s pacing—alternating breezy vignettes with moments of stark tension—keeps the narrative both intimate and urgent. The film’s layered storytelling exposes how patriarchy seeps into everyday rituals, making each scene feel both personal and politically resonant.
