The CinePearl Take

Shah Rukh Khan delivers his usual magnetic screen presence, anchoring a story that otherwise wobbles between slick set‑pieces and clunky exposition. The visual effects, while groundbreaking for Indian cinema at the time, age unevenly but still impress in key set‑pieces. The pacing suffers in the middle act, yet the emotional core—G.One’s bond with his creator’s son—keeps the narrative grounded. Ultimately, Ra.One is a bold, if uneven, experiment that paved the way for larger‑scale Indian sci‑fi.
