The CinePearl Take
Maryam Touzani directs with a patient eye, letting the rhythms of the workshop dictate the film’s measured pace. The understated performance by the lead, Fatima, captures the quiet ache of a marriage on the brink, while the shy charisma of the young apprentice adds a flicker of hope. The muted color palette mirrors the characters’ restrained emotions, turning everyday moments into visual poetry.
