The CinePearl Take
Bédoue’s direction is both restrained and poetic, letting the landscape become a character in its own right. Though the cast remains unnamed, the lead’s wordless performance conveys a profound sense of yearning without uttering a line. The film’s deliberate pacing may feel slow to some, but it rewards patience with a resonant meditation on renewal. Its visual lyricism makes it a standout entry in the 2026 short‑film slate.
