Why Watch This
“800” thrusts you into a relentless cat‑and‑mouse chase through the neon‑lit backstreets of Chennai, where every clue is a ticking clock. The film’s gritty realism and razor‑sharp editing keep the tension high from the opening heist to the final showdown.
Best For
Thriller fans, Indian cinema lovers, Crime drama enthusiasts, Fans of Vishnu Vishal, Late‑night binge watchers
The CinePearl Take
Vishnu Vishal delivers his most nuanced performance yet, balancing stoic determination with flashes of vulnerability. Director Karthik G. maintains a breakneck pace that rarely lets the audience breathe, while the moody cinematography paints the city as both ally and adversary. The screenplay, however, occasionally stumbles with contrived twists that undercut the otherwise tight narrative.
