The CinePearl Take

Aditya Chopra's Mohabbatein balances grandiosity with intimate storytelling, anchored by Amitabh Bachchan's dignified headmaster and Shah Rukh Khan's effervescent Professor. The chemistry between the new‑generation cast and the veteran actors feels genuine, while the film’s pacing occasionally drags during its melodramatic interludes. Its central theme—love’s power to break rigid conventions—still resonates, especially through the memorable “Aankhein Khuli” sequence.
