The CinePearl Take

Director Manuel Wetscher delivers a tightly wound narrative that never lets the suspense breathe, keeping you on edge from the opening credits to the final eclipse. The lead, an unnamed astrophysicist played with haunted intensity, anchors the film’s existential dread. While the pacing is deliberately slow‑burn, it rewards patience with layered symbolism about light, shadow, and human perception. The film’s sound design, punctuated by the low hum of a solar corona, amplifies its unsettling tone.
