The CinePearl Take
Nathalie Cavezzali delivers a quietly powerful performance, grounding the film’s melancholy with a nuanced blend of fatigue and hope. Pilote’s pacing is deliberately unhurried, allowing the landscape and the salesman’s routine to breathe, which amplifies the thematic focus on isolation. The film’s minimalist aesthetic and its attention to the small gestures of everyday life make it a compelling, if understated, portrait of modern alienation.
