Best For
French cinema fans, Short film lovers, Art‑house viewers, Mood: melancholy, Festival goers, Visual poetry enthusiasts
The CinePearl Take
Lavigne’s direction is a masterclass in restraint; the lingering close‑ups of the protagonist’s hands convey more emotion than any monologue could. The pacing is deliberate, allowing the viewer to sit with the ache of each lingering frame. Themes of memory, loss, and the invisible ties that bind us are woven through a muted color palette that feels both intimate and universal.
